Shatonda is a grassroot advocate for youths, social justice, and the homeless population. She serves on a number of boards, councils, and committees aimed to better Louisiana. Shatonda is a native of New Orleans and currently resides in Baton Rouge with her three children Summer, India, and Tyrone.
